What Happened in the End

-Heinrich Himmler committed suicude May 23, 1945.

-Himmler created a plan to surrender to the Western Allies in late WW II; however, as soon as Hitler found out, he set up an arrest for Himmler.

-Himmler tried to escape dressed in disguise as a soldier, but got caught by the British.

-The next day, he swallowed a cyanide capsule in custody.
