In the United Kingdom, some of the major events celebrated are Halloween, Easter, and Christmas. Christmas in England had started in 596 AD, when St. Augustine brought Christianity to England. Traditional customs during this time include having roast turkey and vegetables with a specific sauce. Halloween is also celebrated on October 31, where it marks the end of harvest season. Some beliefs are that the boundary between the living and the dead. People usually dress up as skeletons, ghosts or other remarkably scary or relative figures. Many festivals are celebrated throughout the year. In literature, most books are written in English, but some are recorded to be written or translatiped into native languages such as Welsh, Latin, Cornish, and others. Music in the UK has contributed a number of world-famous bands like The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Judas Priest, and many other famous artists. Classical music in the UK have been conducted in many orchestras, much music of the same field have been contributed into the world of music
