The economy of the Ottoman Empire was mostly trade with other empires; the items were silk, tea, spices, and porcelain. They charged people with taxes on products to make even more money. The Silk Rad was the one thing that the Safavid empire relied on. It was a direct race with European countries. The Mughal Empire also relied on agriculture, trade, and other industries. They too charged high taxes to make profits
