When did South Sudan gain independence?
In 2005 an agreement that ended Africa's longest-running civil war. South Sudan is one of the most diverse countries in Africa. It also has over 60 ethnic groups. The ethnic groups in South Sudan are: Dinka 35.8%, Nuer 15.6%, Shilluk, Azande, Bari, Kakwa, Kuku, Murle, Mandari, Didinga, Ndogo, Bviri, Lndi, Anuak, Bongo, Lango, Dungotona
