Free Verse Poem

Even though I had no idea what I was doing

I tried out anyway

Because all of my friends were trying out

I made a fool of myself

But that's okay

Because I had fun

It was really funny watching everyone stress out

I wasn't expecting to make it

So I was just out there having fun

Before they made cuts

We got to play a scrimmage

It was fun

While it lasted

But then I was cut

Trying out for Soccer
