When your country is at war you are gonna be effected greatly, even if you are innocent. In this picture people are being taken as prisoners in the war. They all have their hands behind their backs and are being escorted to somewhere. This was during the Iran-Iraq war and it happened because neither side can trust each other wile they are at war. This is important to know becayse we need to know the bad things happening over there to heko them out and better protect them. Also to protect us better in case we ever go into war again. It's all about keeping people safe and trying to keep casualties to a minimum. But it was hard to do during this war because all of what was happening. So a lot of people were lost during the war. At least half a million people were lost in the war.
