Jupiter
Jupiter
Jupiter is the fifth planet from the Sun and the largest planet in the Solar System. It is a gas giant with mass one-thousandth of that of the Sun but is two and a half times the mass of all the other planets in the Solar System combined. Jupiter is classified as a gas giant along with Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. Together, these four planets are sometimes referred to as the Jovian or outer planets. The planet was known by astronomers of ancient times. The Romans named the planet after the Roman god Jupiter and Greek god Zeus.
Jupiter is the largest and most massive planet in our solar system, containing more than twice the amount of material of the other bodies orbiting our sun combined. Most of the material left over after the formation of the sun went to Jupiter, forming a type of planet called a gas giant.
The surface area is 23.71 billion sq miles (61.42 billion km),
the radius is 43,441 miles (69,911 km),
the mass is 1.898E27 kg (317.8 Earth mass), Jupiter has 67 CONFIRMED MOONS THAT YOU CAN SEE! (I didn't write them all down because it take forever and to much space).
