Earth

Earth, also known as the world, Terra, or Gaia, is the third planet from the Sun, the densest planet in the Solar System, the largest of the Solar System's four terrestrial planets, and the only celestial body known to accommodate life.

Earth is mostly believed to be 4.54 billion years old but, some people wants to disagree. The earth radius is 3,959 miles (6,371 km). Our population is 7.125 billion in 2013.

When mentioned without further qualification in astronomy this refers to the sidereal period of an astronomical object, which is calculated with respect to the stars.
