They worship at a mandir or a temple. A temple has one main god or goddess. In the middle of the temple is a statue, and that is the holiest part. Worshipers go when they please.

The Hindu trinity consists of Shiva, Vishnu and Braham.

Some of the core beliefs are:
Truth is eternal.
Brahman is Truth and Reality.
The Vedas are the ultimate authority.
Everyone should strive to achieve dharma.

Hands in prayer is the main symbol (below) it's a sign of respect for the sacred, that which is dear to the heart.
