Hindi and English are the two main languages in India. There are also a bunch of smaller languages that some people speak.

The women wear either a saree or a salwar kameez.
The men wear sherwani, lungi, kurta, or angarkha.

They usually eat rice served with flatbread that they dip in a curry sauce. It's usually pretty spicy.

Diwali celebrates the new year. It lasts five days and they celebrate new beginnings. It's similar to out new year partying.
