Lightning rod- A rod that was put on top of a building that connected to the ground so that when lightning struck the rod, it created a charge that was sent down the rod and into the ground without any harm.

Fraklin Stove- A cast-iron furnace that was designed to be more efficient by providing more heat than smoke which as a result would spread heat throughout the whole room.The cast iron walls in the furnace could absorb heat which would provide additional warmth to the room even after the fire went out.

Glass Armonica - An mechanical musical instrument operated by foot. The instrument mainly consisted of 37 glass bowls arranged from smallest to largest, and it played music when the musician touched the rims of the bowls with his fingers.

Bifocals- Glasses that had lenses with an upper half and lower half. The upper half was used to see distance and the lower half was used for reading. These glasses are prescribed to people with an eye condition called presbyopia.Franklin had this condition as well.
