A pull factor is something that attracts you to another place.

 It tends to depend on the perceptions constructed  of things heard and read rather than on experiences.

Definition

An example of a pull factor would be education because you always want your children to have the best education.

Another example of a pull factor would be jobs because in some areas it's easier to get a job that pays a lot more.
