• In this final part of the letter to the Colossians, Paul focuses on prayer and thanksgiving. He asks of the Colossians to keep himself in their prayers as his ministry continues to progress. Verse 5 and 6 address wisdom and the way we are expected to speak. Verses 7 through 18 summarize Paul's plans for the future and the current events of that time. He mentions tychicus, a beloved minister and brother. He closes off with sending grace to the Colossians, and asks them fervently to remember his chains.
