Through out this investigation, I think I really learned a lot more than I thought I would about the mummification process. There was some surprises, some not, but I think I learned a little something from everything in this process. Since I mummified the potato myself, I think this really helped me understand the process better because I got to experience what is was like to be an embalmer. Not only did I see what it was like to be an embalmer, I got to see what it was like to be an archeologist. I got to weigh the potato and see the changes that the body might have through out the mummification process.
