Which country is Cinco de Mayo more of a holiday? Mexico or USA?

All over the world people think that since Mexico had the war with the French that in Mexico Cinco de Mayo is a bigger holiday well they're wrong. Actually in the USA Cinco de Mayo is a bigger holiday than in Mexico. But in the US and Mexico Cinco de Mayo is celebrated in the same ways.
