In the beginning

In the beginning, before the Earth was created, the gods lived in an undifferentiated celestial world and humans lived in an indescribably subterranean world with no culture.

Chief among the gods was Takushkanahkan ("something that moves") the Sun, who is married to the Moon. They have one daughter, Wohpe ("falling star").
