This isn’t a “feminazi” agenda

We do not support female chauvinism. However, in this instance, it’s about women because David doesn’t go after men, to our knowledge.

• This isn’t about needing “protection” or special treatment, but a little empathy, compassion, and understanding. Silence and dismissal has been read by David to be acceptance.

• In this specific instance David is bigger, desperate for something women have, and there is an additional risk element that doesn’t exist for men: potential children. Don’t think about whether or not YOU feel safe, but how you would feel if these factors were present for you.

• This has been a known issue for years. A little “hey dude, that’s not cool” from influential males goes a long way. It’s about creating a culture where it’s just not cool to behave this way, to anyone. Had this been done all along, this would not be a huge blow up issue, but he would have either gotten the point and changed, or gone away.

How fucking sad is it that this was necessary due to people’s commentary before this was finished?
