On a normal day a sausage maker will get to work and put their lab coat, gloves, hair net, and sanitize their shoes before walking into the slaughterhouse. Then they'll sanitize their equipment before prepping the ingredients they'll be using that day. Next they will mix the meats and seasonings in a variety of equipment depending on how they want the meat to turn out. Lastly, they will package the meat securely to prevent contamination. When the day is done they sanitize everything and clock out.
