You can become a certified sausage maker by going to trade school. An example , is the California Apprenticeship Coordinator Association. The program includes 2 years of on the job training and 144 hours of in classroom learning.


Texas A&M offers a meat science course to get trained on how to identify quality meat and process it.


You do not need any degree at all to get this job, just a certification.
