Bethlehem, The Birthplace Of Christ

Jesus was born in Bethlehem. This was prophesied in the Old Testament "but you, o Bethlehem ephrathah, who are little to be among the clans of Judah, from you shall come forth for me one who is to be ruler in Israel, who's origin is from of old, from ancient days..." (Micah 5:2) the gospel of Luke says, "and Joseph also went up from galilee, from the city of Nazareth, to Judah, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and the lineage of David, to be enrolled with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child, and while they where there, the time came for her to be delivered. And she gave birth to her first born son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger, because the was no room for them in the inn."
