AUGMENTED VS VIRTUAL REALITY

By watching Mashable's video that describes augmented reality, I was able to understand what augmented reality really means. He describes augmented reality as "aiming to make the world you already see so much cooler," (Faber, 2016). It takes what is there in front of the lens of your camera and adds to the image using a computer software.

Virtual reality is a little different. Virtual reality try to replace what is in front of us with something very different. This virtual world is usually nothing like the actual world and anyone can be anyone that they want to be because this world is vastly different than the real world we live in.

So all in all, augmented reality is still our world with a small change to improve what we are seeing. Virtual reality is an entirely different place than the world that we live in.
