Vocabulary

Vocabulary can be done in a variety of ways. I like to make sure that students are both writing and signing the vocabulary words. Especially since vocabulary words could use a number of different signs.

For this activity, I ask that you use Flowvella to create a slide that explains the academic vocabulary: persuade, inform, entertain. Your flow should include: words, definitions, examples/non examples—also be sure to include the same information using ASL (videos!).

STEPS

2. The assignment is posted to kidblog

3. Do the ASL Vocabulary assignment

5. watch timer: 10:00 mins

4. upload your flow to kidblog
