Signs of social development continue..

- months 7-8

- try's to imitate sounds made by adults 

- enjoys other children

- begins to experience stranger anxiety and clings to familiar caregivers

Months 9-10

- responds to "no" and their own name

- says simples words... "No, bye-bye, dada, mama"

- crawls around to look for parents

- enjoys playing peek-a-boo and sound games

Month 11-12

- uses "mama and dada" to refer to specific people

- uses gestures as well as simple body language

- shows stronger likes and dislikes 

- spends time looking at themselves in mirrors.
