Hurricane Katrina

Hurricane Katrina tore Louisiana up especially New Orleans. New Orleans almost 10 years later is still recuperating from the terrible disaster Katrina left. It tore up the football stadium that New Orlean Saints play in. It killed over 1,800 people, as well as effecting 5 million more people. It also had billions and billions of dollars worth damages. They are still damages that has yet to be repaired yet. A lot of the repair has come from people going down to work to help repair New Orleans. With a more accurate forecast a lot of the lives could have been saved. Besides the lives, not much more could have been minimized. A lot of the residence has relocated to prevent another situation like this from occurring.
