Pluto

Pluto was once considered to be our solar system’s ninth planet, but it is now considered a dwarf planet, because it lacked characteristics of a regular planet. Pluto has one known satellite named Charon. Charon’s distance from Pluto is 20,000km, but should be around 384,000km. Pluto and Charon are nearly the same size.

There are a lot of theories that explain why Pluto has an odd orbit around the Sun, the main theory is that: Pluto was one of Neptune’s satellites, then a planet passed really close to Neptune taking away one of Neptune’s satellites (Pluto). It is said that part of Pluto broke making Charon, Pluto’s moon.
