Spinoza's View on Free Will

A common phrase is used to explain why humans act, think,  and function certain ways; we always say "it's human nature." Although we are individuals, perfectly capable of this nuking differently than other individuals around us, are we really as free as we think? A philosopher simply referee to as Spinoza believed that humans do not necessarily act of our own accord, but rather by the "inner cause" of God/nature.
