Daisy Bates

Her story

Daisy was born in Ireland. She migrated to Australia soon after and became a respected person in our society. Daisy Bates is well known for her fight against discrimination against multi raced people by writing books. She is also known for her clothing choices and welfare work. Daisy Bates is an important Australian migrant because of what she did to help people of different races. I believe that she did not only affect my life but also everyone else because she was one of people at that point in time who accepted multi raced people. I think she is also important because without her multi raced Australians wouldn't be living like it is today.
