John Burgoyne

John Burgoyne and F.A. Riedesel were the most important generals for the British. John Burgoyne was called Gentleman Johnny and was the head general. He was told to go to Lake Champlain and the Hudson River valley (after General Howe and Lord Cornwallis lost New Jersey and New York) to gain control of those areas. F.A. Riedesel and German Hessians came help by
