Settlements

The Indus Valley civilization started at around 4000 to 3000 BC. The Indus started with just farming settlements and slowly progressed to city-like buildings, the Indus started mostly because of the Indus and Ganges River and that the soil around the area was good for farming and that the Rivers flooded very reliably twice a year meaning that the land in the area was fertile and full of nutrients from the silt that the river deposits. They had amazing building with sewer systems and was a mostly peaceful civilization because archeologists discovered very little amount of weapons and with farther examination the buildings didn't appear to have been damaged from battle thus reinforcing the theory that the Indus Valley civilization was very peaceful
