General Overview: Indus River Valley

The Indus River Valley was a Bronze Age civilization located to the northwest of India. This civilization is one of the earliest along with Mesopotamia and Ancient Egypt. The Indus Valley covered one and a quarter million km2 of good land. Scientists believed that at its peak, there were once 5 million people living in Indus River Valley.
