Trading System


They made lighthouses harbors and docks for safe journeys and away from pirates. Spain, Middle East, France and North Africa were the partners of Romans in trading. Romans trade beef, corn, glassware, iron, lead, leather, marble, olive oil, perfumes, purple dye, silk, silver, spices, timber, tin and wine.




Communication


The Reason the Roman Empire was so strong was because of the empires ability to communicate among the masses. Emperors would communicate to the people at public events while displaying gestures that could be read from afar, where voice would not carry. Also through the development of art and architecture messages were incorporated in order preserve history, and incorporate mythical themes. Rome would use gestures and art in order to inform the people.


Transportation


Ancient Romans traveled by land and sea. From earliest times the Romans displayed remarkable skill at building and engineering.
