Road to Becoming a Priest

Padre Pio claims he conversed with Jesus, and suffered attacks from the devil. He felt as if God was calling him to become a priest, and later received more education in order to pursue his dreams. At the age of 15, he took the Habit of the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin. Then, he took the name of Pio in honor of Saint Pius V. He studied 6 years for the priest hood.
