Serbian Holidays

Most Serbs go by the Julian Calendar, which is different then the common one gone by her in the west. For example, Christmas lands on January 7 on the Julian Calendar. A holiday that only the Serbs conduct is Slava. Each family has a patron saint (inherited from father to son etc). Each of these saints have a day on the calendar, that is celebrated by a feast if that be the households patron saint.
