Reflection

In this lab, multiple errors could have altered the data that was received. One possible error is inaccurate scales. The scales that were being used could not have been exactly at zero or manufacturing issues could have altered one different from the other. Another possible error could be the size of clips that were used. All the clips were the same size, beside one clip which was shorter and smaller. Another error could be the ruler not being at directly 90 degrees, causing the data to be off and the center of mass to be off. The data used for the center of mass also could have been off because of wrong numbers or incorrect significant figures being used. Finally, one last possible error could be the placement of the clips. Some clips might not have been directly where they were supposed to be. Ways the experiment could be set up better would be having better stands, clips all the same size, and making sure the scales are perfectly zeroed.
