Personal facts

Franz Joseph Haydn was born on March 31, 1732 in Rohrau, Austria. Joseph was often know as the father of the symphony. He even taught Ludwig van Beethoven for a short period of time. Haydn has been reburied many times, the latest being 1954. He was originally buried in Bergkirgo, Eisenstadt, Burgenlan, Austria. Music must run in Hayden's blood because his brother Michael Haydn is also a well known composer. Joseph loved playing practical jokes, that's actually where the idea of the surprise symphony came from. In his own eyes Haydn was VERY ugly so he never understood why so many women liked him. Joseph Haydn's spouse or wife was Maria Anne Keller. Haydn had four children Nikolaus, Anton, Alois, and Polzelli. Haydn had Mariah koller for a mother and Matthias Haydn for a father. Along with a wife children and parents Haydn had two siblings Michael Haydn and Johann Evangelist Haydn. Joseph Haydn tragically died on May 31, 1809 in Vienna Austria.
