If you live in a Semiarid region in the Northern United States you need to wear heavy clothing however the climate in Africa can be hot thought the year. The sometimes experience rain for plants to grow but some years the experience drought. Gazelles, jackals, zebras, and giraffes live in the Semiarid region. During the droughts not much food can be grown. Water is scarce do to all the droughts. People choose not to build shelters in a Semiarid region. Trees are used for wood for building materials.
