Commensalism is when 2 organism that co-exist have a relationship where 1 organism benefits and the other is not harmed. In the picture above, we choose a plant growing on a tree to best represent commensalism. We choose this because, the plant benefits by getting closer to the sun than it would be on the ground and, the tree however does not benefit.
