The Film Grease
In the movie Grease, teenagers gathered and expressed their daily routines. Throughout the movie, events occurred such as job changes, school, and relationship statuses. These changes showed opinions that others had during the 70s. The main character Sandy wanted to stand out from all the girls. She portrayed individuality and her relationship with Danny expressed freedom to do what one wants. This individuality expressed the start of change within society. Woman began to express themselves through fashion, careers and their voices. Men began to become independent and do as they please. This individuality within people made the 70s a joyful era.
