Diet:They feed on ghost shrimp,mollies,guppies, small octopus, and other small reef animals.
Adaptations:Fanciful camouflage, armed with venomous spines for protection.
Interesting fact:The body is covered with skin flaps.(various colors)/ While waiting to ambush unsuspecting prey, weedy scorpionfish can remain in the same position for weeks or months.
Natural Habitat:Found in warm waters along the coral reefs. Also perch on the top of coral.Found in Northeaster. Australia, East Africa, Japan , and other Pacific areas.
