American experience
Overall, I believe that Zelda Fitzgerald would view her American Experience as a very sad and unfulfilling one. While she was an icon and famous and a social butterfly, she never was allowed to express herself creatively and when she did she was shamed. Her relationship with Scott was seen as beautiful and wonderful, but was based on parties and the expectations and romanticism of love instead of true love. She would probably say she was dissatisfied with her life and spent her time looking to satisfy her needs and what she wanted and needed to be. She would definitely say she had fun, but mostly she would look back and regret never finding or dedicating herself to an organization or career that she loved, because she was always too immersed in the materialism of the 1920s and she probably would have wanted to make a greater change in the world. She probably would look back and also regret that she was not a stronger woman or figure and instead let opinions and standards define her.
