A. Describe Hitler’s “Final Solution” and how it affected Jewish people across Europe.

Hitler's "Final Solution" was the Nazi's plan to completely get rid of all Jewish people throughout Europe. Hitler's plan was gradually implemented through different stages. At first, the state promoted racism, which in turn created prejudice towards Jews and anti-Jewish legislation. THis led to the "Night of Broken Glass" which attempted to remove all Jews from Germany.


B. What types of camps were created in Germany and occupied territories for individuals or groups who were deemed enemies of the German state? Describe the conditions of these camps.

Concentration camps were created by Hitler. These camps were brutal. There was little food and horrible conditions including the cold, illnesses, etc...


C. How did anti­-Nazi groups resist German occupation during World War II?

Resistance movements during World War II occurred in every occupied country by a variety of means, ranging from non-cooperation, disinformation and propaganda, to hiding crashed pilots and even to outright warfare and the recapturing of towns. In many countries, resistance movements were sometimes also referred to as The Underground.
