Claymation

The claymation is the process of making clay statues and moving them one frame at a time and taking pictures and putting the pictures together. The characters Burton created for The Nightmare Before Christmas were incredibly expressive, the character Jack the Pumpkin King had over 150 exchangeable heads to show all of the expressions they needed.
