RESULTS

With the seat belt restraining the passenger, acting as the 'external force' in Newton's First Law, the passenger stayed firmly in the seat every time. However without restraint, the passenger fell out of the seat, during impact and drop, 'continuing along the uniform motion', accelerating as by Newton's Second Law (F=Ma).

Unlike the hypothesis, the passenger managed to stay in place during turbulence without seatbelt. This is likely due to the fact that the turbulence did not create enough potential energy or speed to knock the passenger out of their seat.
