MacArthur in WWII
Before The Second World War, MacArthur was a military advisor to the Philippine government, but in July of 1941 he was recalled to active duty and appointed commanding general of the U.S. troops in the Philippines and appointed Commanding General of U.S. troops in the Philippines.
