8.2 Economic Systems

Three types of economic systems are market, command, and mixed economies. A market economy is a economic system in which individual buying decisions determine what, how, and for whom goods and services will be produced. A command economy is a economic system where the government owns most of the factors of production and determines what, how, and for whom goods and services will be produced. A mixed economy is any mix of a command and market economy.
