8.1 Economic Wants

Economic wants is the desire for scarce material goods and services. Utility is the ability to satisfy a want. The four different types of utility are form, place, possession, and time utility. Form is the shape of the good. Place is the usefulness in a certain area. Possession is a good or service being transferred from person to person. Time is when a good or service is available.
