It is estimated to be over 125 million years old making it the oldest tropical lowland rainforest in the world.

Introduction

The Daintree Rainforest is a tropical rainforest located on the north east coast of Queensland. At around 1,200 square kilometres, it is the largest tropical rainforest in Australia.
