How to play: Cornhole

Some history

¤ Gather teams of two. Each team gets a set of 4 bags.

NOTE: there are larger red and grey bags for the

pros or for those who like a challenge!

¤ Each team stands by the opposing team’s board.

¤ Players alternate tossing their bags, trying the make it in

the hole.

SCORING: Play until one player scores exactly 21 points.

Many farmers across the United States claim that cornhole dates back to Germany. The story goes that a humble German cabinet maker noticed young boys tossing rocks into holes in the ground. Concerned for their safety he provided them with burlap bags filled with corn and wooden boxes.

James Deering, Vizcaya’s owner, was in the farming industry and was likely familiar with this version of the game’s origins.
