- Males are three times more likely to carry weapons than in high school than females

- There was no major difference in which grade (9-12) carried more weapons

- Between 1991 and 2013, the number of high school students carrying  weapons dropped from 26% to 18%

It was pretty surprising to find out that males carried weapons that much more often than females, especially since there is no real reason for it to be like that. Maybe it has to do with the fact that bullying is more common among men, and they are using the weapons in acts of bullying.
