In any psychology course, we are going to discuss some topics that may:

Make you uncomfortable

Challenge your closely held beliefs

Make you think about yourself in a new way

This is an academic endeavor. This is science. While I respect your opinion, science doesn’t care about “what you think” or “what you’ve experienced”. These are known in science as “subjective opinions” and “anecdotal evidence”.

I will not engage in, nor will I tolerate, any intentional display of aggressive or intolerant statements, but I will encourage academic and challenging debate.
